The event is a first at the Bikefest grounds and there will be plenty of spaces available. The items to be sold will include clothes, furniture, electronics, books, shoes, purses, automotive supplies & household products, plus who knows what else.
Reservation are not required, but if you would like to sell your items, you may reserve your spot with RayLyn at 229-220-8086. The cost for a spot is only $10 plus a refundable clean-up fee of $10.
Early set-up and sales begin on Friday, August 5, at 5 pm.

Earth, Moon, & Sun will be playing in the Wetherbee Planetarium all day July 14. Show times are at 10:30, 11:30, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00. Beginning on July 15, Earth, Moon, & Sun will be shown at 2:00 every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Admission to the Wetherbee Planetarium is $3.50+tax per person, age 3 and up. Groups of 20 or more, please contact us for reservations and to inquire about group discounts. Annual memberships are available.

Hear a live discussion on the constellations Ophiuchus the Snake Charmer and Hercules the Warrior. Watch the feature film "Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity." Go inside a black hole, hear the scientific theories behind them, and witness the collision of galaxies and their black holes. Also hear a live presentation entitled “Life After Death” Discuss how two dead stars can crash into each other and create a new, living star. Also learn how this could effect of the planets of this once dead system, giving it a second chance at life.
Admission to the series is $3.50+tax per person, age 3 and up.

Join us for the biggest fireworks show in Southwest Georgia! The event will take place in the southeast parking lot behind the Civic Center. Vendors will be on site with food and cold drinks beginning at 5:00 pm.
